Pet Ready Planner helps you organize information and plan ahead for your pets. It is a planning and record-keeping tool.
Not a substitute for professionals or services
Pet Ready Planner does not replace a veterinarian, emergency clinic, animal poison-control service, attorney, insurer, government agency, emergency responder, shelter, evacuation authority, or other professional. For any medical concern about your pet, contact a licensed veterinarian. In a life-threatening emergency, contact your emergency vet or local emergency services.
Confirm your own arrangements
Please confirm veterinarian, caregiver, shelter, transportation, and Safe Place availability yourself. Pet Ready Planner does not guarantee that a caregiver, facility, destination, reminder email, notification, website, internet connection, or third-party service will be available during an emergency.
Medication information
Medication details and reminders are for refill, replacement, expiration, and planning purposes. They are not medication dose administration or dose-time instructions. Always follow your veterinarian's instructions.
Reminders are convenience tools
Email reminders are sent on a best-effort basis, and delivery depends on your email provider. Please keep your own calendar reminders and current printed or offline copies of your important records.
Review your plan regularly
Emergency conditions, contacts, and destinations change. Review and update your plan, Pet Emergency Starter Card, and Pet Emergency Go-Bag Starter Checklist regularly so they stay accurate.
Age
This service is intended for users age 18 and older.
